Product Condition and Warranty

Version 1 · Effective August 6, 2026 · Last updated August 6, 2026

How we describe condition, what AS IS means, and how manufacturer warranties work.

Provisional. Some business registration details are still being finalized, so a few entries below read “[to be confirmed]”. Everything else applies as written. Email us if you need a detail before it's posted.

How we describe condition

  • New — factory sealed or opened only to verify contents. Never used, never registered.
  • Open box — new and unused, but the packaging has been opened or is imperfect. Listed with what is and is not in the box.
  • Used — sold in person only, so you can inspect it before you buy. We do not sell used tools online.
  • AS IS — sold with all faults, clearly marked on the listing and at the register.

What AS IS means

An item marked AS IS is sold with all faults. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AS IS ITEMS ARE SOLD WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY WHATSOEVER, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. AS IS items are not returnable. This applies only where the listing or the tag says AS IS. Nothing here is a blanket disclaimer on our normal inventory.

What's included

Every listing has a "What's Included" and a "What's Not Included" block. Bare tools do not come with a battery or charger unless the listing says so. Kits list every piece. If the page does not say it is included, it is not included.

Manufacturer warranty

Warranty eligibility is decided by the manufacturer, not by us. It varies by brand, product, and where the tool was originally sold, and some manufacturers require the original authorized-dealer receipt or online registration. We are an independent reseller and cannot register tools on your behalf, extend a warranty, or guarantee a manufacturer will honor a claim.

What we do stand behind

If a tool arrives dead, damaged, or not as described, tell us within 48 hours and we will refund or replace it. That is our commitment regardless of what the manufacturer decides.

Batteries

Battery capacity, runtime, and charge cycles vary with temperature, load, and age. Manufacturer runtime figures are lab figures. Never charge a damaged, swollen, or wet battery, and dispose of batteries at a proper recycling point.

Safety

Read the manual. Use the guard. Wear eye and hearing protection. Do not modify tools or defeat safety features. Product information on this site is general information, not a substitute for the manufacturer's documentation.
